Living with Hesed

(10) There are four kinds of people: the one who says "what is mine is mine, and what is yours is yours" -- that's a "beinonit" (average person). There are some who say that is the kind of people that were in Sodom. [A second type is one who says] "what is mine is yours, and what is yours is mine" -- [that's an] "am ha'aretz" (uneducated person). [A third type is one who says] "what is mine is yours, and what is yours is yours" -- [that's a] "chasid" (righteous person). [A final type is one who says] "what is yours is mine, and what is mine is mine" -- [that's a] "rasha" (wicked person).

Questions:
1. What does the Mishnah mean that "What is mine is mine and what is yours is yours" is a regular person, and that there are those who say it is the quality of the people of Sodom?
2. How do you understand the difference between the average person and the Hasid?
3. We translate Hesed as "Loving Connection." The Hasid is one who embodies Hesed. How does the Hasid in this teaching embody that value? How is the Hasid different than the average person?
4. Looking at your top 5 strengths (in Strengths Finder), how do you see them as reflecting or getting in the way of your ability to manifest Hesed in your life?
