מגיד לך הכתוב ששני משכבות באשה א"ר ישמעאל הרי זה בא ללמד ונמצא למד מות יומתו
This teaches that there are two modes of forms of intercourse, both of which are punished when committed incestuously.

1. Note that the two forms of intercourse are vaginal and anal. Married heterosexual partners are permitted to engage in anal intercourse. As well, note that the biblical verse that grounds this legal position is Leviticus 18:22. What might be the significance of this definition of sex and the use of this verse in this way?
