Responsa of R' Yosef Chaim of Baghdad (Ben Ish Chai), in which he responds to Halakhic inquiries received from many different countries, such as Singapore, India, Israel and even Vilna. At the end of each volume is a section called "Sod Yesharim" which contains mystical insights. Like many of R' Yosef Hayim's books, this work is derived from a verse in the book of Samuel, which describes Benayahu ben Yehoyada, a righteous warrior of King David. The reason for this is that when the author visited the grave of Benayahu, he felt a special spiritual connection there, from which he realized that their souls were connected on some level, and he decided to call his books after him.
