Od Yosef Chai: Halakhot is an early 20th-century work by Rabbi Yosef Hayyim ֹ– also known as the Ben Ish Chai ֹ– a prominent rabbinic leader in Baghdad. The work includes laws not included in the author’s magnum opus, the Ben Ish Chai, as well as laws for which the author changed his ruling since the publishing of the Ben Ish Chai. Arranged according to the weekly Torah portion, Od Yosef Chai originally included laws for each Torah portion. However, some were lost at sea when Rabbi Yosef Hayyim sent a manuscript of the work on a boat to be published in Israel.
