[Ugar. krkr (= to intertwine the fingers), Arab. karra (= he returned, repeated, attached anew), karkara (= he repeated, did repeatedly), kura (= globe, sphere, ball), Ethiop. karkara (= he rolled), makarkar (= turning a mill), Akka. karru (= handle). The orig. meaning of כרר prob. was ‘to be round’.
