The Ethical Will of Rabbi Moshe of Pshevorsk

About This Text

Author: Naftali Tzvi Horowitz
Imrei Shefer is a brief 19th-century collection of insights into selected Torah portions, as well as other biblical passages, by chasidic leader Rabbi Naftali Tzvi Horowitz of Ropshitz. The volume was printed about 60 years after his passing and includes material from other rabbis as well. The title, Imrei Shefer, comes from the blessing to Jacob’s son Naftali in Genesis 19:21, which is also the source for the title of a larger work by Rabbi Horowitz, Ayala Shelucha.
