Rabbi Yose son of Rabbi Judah says: Three good leaders arose for Israel, these are they: Moses, Aaron and Miriam. And three good gifts were given through them, and these are they: Well, Cloud, and Mann(a). Well by merit of Miriam. Pillar of Cloud by merit of Aaron. Mann(a) by merit of Moses.
Ten things were created on the Sabbath eve at twilight. And these are they: the mouth of the earth*, and the mouth of the well, and the mouth of the donkey**, and the rainbow, and the mann(a), and the staff, and the shamir***, and the letters, and the writing, and the tablets. And some say: also the destructive spirits, and the burial place of Moses, and the ram of Abraham, our forefather. And some say: also tongs, which can only be made with tongs.

(from The Open Door: A Passover Haggadah)
This is the cup of Miriam, the cup of living waters, a reminder of the Exodus from Egypt.

Miriam, the prophet, strength and song in her hand,
Miriam, dance with us in order to increase the song of the world.
Miriam, dance with us in order to repair the world.
Soon she will bring us to the waters of redemption, to the waters of redemption
