Creating Inclusive Classrooms: A Jewish Values-Based Approach
And God created humankind in the divine image,
creating it in the image of God—
creating them male and female.
A foundational text emphasizing the inherent dignity and worth of every individual.

Love your fellow as yourself: I am GOD.

This core principle of Torah emphasizes empathy and respect for all people.

Justice, justice shall you pursue,

A call to prioritize justice in all aspects of life, including education.

For My House shall be called
A house of prayer for all peoples.”

A vision of inclusivity, reminding us to create environments where everyone belongs
הִגִּ֥יד לְךָ֛ אָדָ֖ם מַה־טּ֑וֹב וּמָֽה־יְהֹוָ֞ה דּוֹרֵ֣שׁ מִמְּךָ֗ כִּ֣י אִם־עֲשׂ֤וֹת מִשְׁפָּט֙ וְאַ֣הֲבַת חֶ֔סֶד וְהַצְנֵ֥עַ לֶ֖כֶת עִם־אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ {ס}
“You have been told, O mortal, what is good,
And what GOD requires of you:
Only to do justice
And to love goodness,
And to walk modestly with your God;
A clear framework for values-driven action, encouraging kindness and humility.
He [also] used to say: If I am not for myself, who is for me? But if I am for my own self [only], what am I? And if not now, when?
This inspires reflection on personal responsibility and collective action in creating inclusive spaces.
