(ה) יוסף בן יוחנן איש ירושלם אומר יהי ביתך פתוח לרוחה. י"א שימצאו בביתו הרוחה בני אדם הצריכין. או פי' שיהיה ביתו כבית אברהם אבינו ע"ה שיהיה ביתו בדרך במקום דוחק כדי שיכנסו לשם העוברים והשבים ויהיה ביתו פתוח לארבע רוחות מכל צד
...or it is explained that you should have a house like Avraham Our Parent, instead having a house in such a manner: with a place in order that travelers can enter, and there should be openings to the four winds, on every side.
(טז) לֹא־תֵלֵ֤ךְ רָכִיל֙ בְּעַמֶּ֔יךָ לֹ֥א תַעֲמֹ֖ד עַל־דַּ֣ם רֵעֶ֑ךָ אֲנִ֖י יְהוָֽה׃
(16) Do not deal basely with your countrymen. Do not profit by the blood of your fellow: I am the LORD.
(כו) וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֱלֹהִ֔ים נַֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה אָדָ֛ם בְּצַלְמֵ֖נוּ כִּדְמוּתֵ֑נוּ וְיִרְדּוּ֩ בִדְגַ֨ת הַיָּ֜ם וּבְע֣וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם וּבַבְּהֵמָה֙ וּבְכָל־הָאָ֔רֶץ וּבְכָל־הָרֶ֖מֶשׂ הָֽרֹמֵ֥שׂ עַל־הָאָֽרֶץ׃
(26) And God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. They shall rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the cattle, the whole earth, and all the creeping things that creep on earth.”
(יט) וַאֲהַבְתֶּ֖ם אֶת־הַגֵּ֑ר כִּֽי־גֵרִ֥ים הֱיִיתֶ֖ם בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃
(19) You too must befriend the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt.
