Genesis 26:64-67 - The First "Wedding"
(64) And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she fell from the camel. (65) And she said unto the servant: ‘What man is this that walks in the field to meet us?’ And the servant said: ‘It is my master.’ And she took her veil, and covered herself.(66) And the servant told Isaac all the things that he had done.(67) And Isaac brought her into his mother Sarah’s tent, and took Rebekah, and she became his wife; and he loved her. And Isaac was comforted for his mother.

"Gather the people, Sanctify the congregation, Assemble the elders, Gather the children, And those suckling infants; Let the bridegroom go forth from his chamber (chedro), And the bride out of her pavilion (chuppah-tah)."
Psalms 19:5-6
(5)Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath Adonai set a tent for the sun, (6) Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber (chuppah-to), and rejoices as a strong man to run his course.
