(ו) וַתָּקָם הִיא וְכַלֹּתֶיהָ וַתָּשָׁב מִשְּׂדֵי מוֹאָב כִּי שָׁמְעָה בִּשְׂדֵה מוֹאָב כִּי פָקַד יהוה אֶת עַמּוֹ לָתֵת לָהֶם לָחֶם.
(6) Then she arose with her daughters-in-law, that she might return from the field of Moab; for she had heard in the field of Moab how that Hashem had remembered His people in giving them bread.
(יד) וַתִּשֶּׂנָה קוֹלָן וַתִּבְכֶּינָה עוֹד וַתִּשַּׁק עָרְפָּה לַחֲמוֹתָהּ וְרוּת דָּבְקָה בָּהּ.
(14) And they lifted up their voice, and wept again; and Orpah kissed her mother-in-law; but Ruth clung onto her.
(טו) וַיְכַס אֶת עֵין כָּל הָאָרֶץ וַתֶּחְשַׁךְ הָאָרֶץ וַיֹּאכַל אֶת כָּל עֵשֶׂב הָאָרֶץ וְאֵת כָּל פְּרִי הָעֵץ אֲשֶׁר הוֹתִיר הַבָּרָד וְלֹא נוֹתַר כָּל יֶרֶק בָּעֵץ וּבְעֵשֶׂב הַשָּׂדֶה בְּכָל אֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם.
(15) For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left; and there remained not any green thing, either tree or herb of the field, through all the land of Egypt.

(כ) הלוך [הוֹלֵךְ] אֶת חֲכָמִים וחכם [יֶחְכָּם] וְרֹעֶה כְסִילִים יֵרוֹעַ.
(20) He who walks with wise men shall become wise; But the companion of fools will suffer harm
(יד) רבי נהוראי אומר, הוי גולה למקום תורה ואל תאמר שהיא תבוא אחריך, שחבריך יקימוה בידך.ואל בינתך אל תשען.
(14) Rabbi Nehorai said: Exile yourself to a place of Torah, and don't say that the Torah will follow you, because it's your colleagues who will make it yours. Don't rely on your lone understanding.
