(2) The LORD is my strength and song, And He will be my salvation; This is my God, and I will glorify Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.
אָבִינוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ. חָנֵּנוּ וַעֲנֵנוּ. כִּי אֵין בָּנוּ מַעֲשים. עֲשה עִמָּנוּ צְדָקָה וָחֶסֶד וְהושִׁיעֵנוּ:
Our Father, Our King, have compassion on us and answer us, for our deeds are lacking. Treat us with justice and righteousness and deliver us.
צוּר יִשרָאֵל. קוּמָה בְּעֶזְרַת יִשרָאֵל. וּפְדֵה כִנְאֻמֶךָ יְהוּדָה וְיִשרָאֵל. גּאֲלֵנוּ ה' צְבָאות שְׁמו קְדושׁ יִשרָאֵל:
Rock of Israel, arise in defense of Israel. Fulfill Your promise to deliver Judah and Israel. Our Redeemer, Lord of Hosts is His name, Holy One of Israel.
הָאֵל הַגָּדול הַגִּבּור וְהַנּורָא אֵל עֶלְיון.
The God, the great, the mighty, and the awesome, the supreme God.
(א) מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִ֑ד יְהוָ֥ה רֹ֝עִ֗י לֹ֣א אֶחְסָֽר׃ (ב) בִּנְא֣וֹת דֶּ֭שֶׁא יַרְבִּיצֵ֑נִי עַל־מֵ֖י מְנֻח֣וֹת יְנַהֲלֵֽנִי׃ (ג) נַפְשִׁ֥י יְשׁוֹבֵ֑ב יַֽנְחֵ֥נִי בְמַעְגְּלֵי־צֶ֝֗דֶק לְמַ֣עַן שְׁמֽוֹ׃ (ד) גַּ֤ם כִּֽי־אֵלֵ֨ךְ בְּגֵ֪יא צַלְמָ֡וֶת לֹא־אִ֘ירָ֤א רָ֗ע כִּי־אַתָּ֥ה עִמָּדִ֑י שִׁבְטְךָ֥ וּ֝מִשְׁעַנְתֶּ֗ךָ הֵ֣מָּה יְנַֽחֲמֻֽנִי׃ (ה) תַּעֲרֹ֬ךְ לְפָנַ֨י ׀ שֻׁלְחָ֗ן נֶ֥גֶד צֹרְרָ֑י דִּשַּׁ֖נְתָּ בַשֶּׁ֥מֶן רֹ֝אשִׁ֗י כּוֹסִ֥י רְוָיָֽה׃ (ו) אַ֤ךְ ׀ ט֤וֹב וָחֶ֣סֶד יִ֭רְדְּפוּנִי כָּל־יְמֵ֣י חַיָּ֑י וְשַׁבְתִּ֥י בְּבֵית־יְ֝הוָ֗ה לְאֹ֣רֶךְ יָמִֽים׃
(1) A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. (2) He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. (3) He restores my soul; He guides me in straight paths for His name's sake. (4) And though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff comfort me. (5) You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; my cup runs over. (6) Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; And I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
