Believing in Teshuva

Now Jonah had left the city and found a place east of the city. He made a booth there and sat under it in the shade, until he should see what happened to the city...The prophet feared being in the city because he was sure that at least a few houses or courtyards would fall, but G!d has steadfast love and great power to redeem. Therefore the consequences of his prophecy of destruction affected only his plant.

(7) O Israel, wait for G!d; G!d has steadfast love and great power to redeem. (8) It is G!d who will redeem Israel from all their iniquities.
