Those Who Went to Gan Eden Alive

Mesechet Kallah 3:23

There are seven who entered Gan Eden alive, and they are: Serach the daughter of Asher, Batya the daughter of Paroah, Chirim the king of Tzur, Oved the king of Kushi, Eliezer the servant of Avraham, and the grandson of Rebbi Yehoshua ben Levi, Ya'avetz, and some say even Rebbi Yehoshua ben Levi.

Serach, it is written about her, "We are of them that are peaceable and faithful in Israel". Ani Hishlamti, this means those who go into Gan Eden.

Batya Bat Paroah, it is written about her: "She gave birth to Yered the father of Gadur, and to Chever the father of Socho, and to Yekutiel the father of Zanoch, these are the sons of Batya bat Paroah."...God said, this one that brought savior to the Israel and brought them to life, I will extend her life with Israel...that one that left the kingdom of her father, I will repay her.

Chirim the King of Tzur, why did he merit? Because he made a mishkan like Moshe. As it says, "And all the vessels for the tent Chirim made for King Solomon the House of God." What is a "tent"? This means the Ohel Moed.

Oved the King of Kushi, for he saved Yirmiyahu, as it says: "And Ebed-melech the Ethiopian said unto Jeremiah: 'Put now these worn clouts and rags under thine armholes under the cords.' And Jeremiah did so.So they drew up Jeremiah with the cords, and took him up out of the pit"

Eliezer, the servant of Avraham, because it says "send me, I pray Thee, good speed this day"...

And the grandson of Rebbi Yehudah Hanasi and Rebbi Yehoshua ben Levi are taught.

Ya'avatz, from where do we know? As it says, "And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying: ‘Oh that Thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my border, and that Thy hand might be with me, and that Thou wouldest work deliverance from evil, that it may not pain me! ’ And God granted him that which he requested." And where do we know that this got rid of death? As it says, "That the righteous is taken away from the evil to come." And it is taught, that the world was filled with bad people, and there weren't other tzadikim. Ya'avatz asked to prevent sadness, and God answered him.
