(כז) וַיִּבְרָ֨א אֱלֹהִ֤ים ׀ אֶת־הָֽאָדָם֙ בְּצַלְמ֔וֹ בְּצֶ֥לֶם אֱלֹהִ֖ים בָּרָ֣א אֹת֑וֹ זָכָ֥ר וּנְקֵבָ֖ה בָּרָ֥א אֹתָֽם׃
(27) And God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.
What are the characteristics of God? Think about what you have heard from parents, teachers, rabbis, friends, etc...
How does the Torah describe God? Give examples.
Do you think that all human beings have a "piece of God" in them? Is this something that you need to work to get or does everyone have it when they are born?
Think about ways that people can act "in the image of God". Plan a skit with your team about people in camp acting as if they were similar to God.
