"משנה (ב.) הכל חייבין בראייה חוץ מחרש שוטה וקטן גמרא (ג:) תנו רבנן: איזהו שוטה? היוצא יחידי בלילה, והלן בבית הקברות, והמקרע את כסותו."
"Mishna (2a) All are obligated with the Re'iyah [sacrifice] except for the deaf, the mentally unsound, and children. Gemara (3b) The Rabbis taught: Who is mentally unsound? One who goes out at night, sleeps in graveyards and tears his clothing." [Translation by Rabbi Steve Greenberg]
