והמצוה הרצ"ז היא שהזהירנו מהתרשל בהצלת נפש אחד מישראל כשנראהו בסכנת המות או ההפסד ויהיה לנו יכולת להצילו.
The 297th commandment is that we cannot be passive in saving the life of one who is in danger of dying or being lost if we are in a position to save him or her. [AJWS translation]
