אמר רבא: אי בעו צדיקי ברו עלמא, שנאמר כי עונותיכם היו מבדלים ביניכם לבין אלהיכם (ישעיהו נ"ט).
Raba said: If the righteous desired it, they could be creators of worlds, as it is written, "But your iniquities have separated between you and your God [Isaiah 59:2].
