Exodus 23:12
Six days you may do your work, but on the seventh day you shall rest, in order that your ox and your donkey shall rest, and your maidservant's son and the stranger shall be refreshed [Translation by Judaica Press]

Suggested Discussion Questions:

1. Why are we commanded to rest on the seventh day?

2. Why are animals included in this teaching? What can we learn from this?

3. What does it mean "and your maidservant's son and the stranger shall be refreshed"? How does rest refresh people? Do we afford workers an opportunity to "refresh" today?
