Midrash Tehillim 17: 15
דבר אחר אני בצדק אחזה. לפי שהרשעים יושבין בעולם הזה שלוים וכופרין בהקב"ה ומכעיסין אותו, וצדיקים מתייסרין בעולם הזה, ומתים על קידוש שם יוצרם, לפיכך אמר דוד אני איני מן המכעיסין לפניך, אלא מאותם שהם יגיעים בתורה, שכתוב בה צדק צדק תרדוף (דברים טז כ), לכך נאמר אני בצדק אחזה פניך.
Another idea, As for me, I shall behold Your face in righteousness; (Psalms 17:15) There are the wicked who flourish in this world; that are secure and deny and anger God. There are the righteous who suffer in this world, and die for the sanctification of the name of the creator. On account of this, David said, “I will not be amongst those who brings anger before You, rather, I will be amongst them that wear themselves out in Torah, in which it is written, Justice justice, you shall pursue. (Deut 16:20) Because of this it is said, As for me I shall behold your face in righteousness. (Psalm 17:15) [Translation by Rabbi Rachael Bregman]
