זוהר כרך ג (ויקרא) פרשת בחוקותי
ונתתי גשמיכם בעתם וגו', כל חד וחד יתן חילא דיליה עלייכו מאן אינון ההוא תקונא דעבדתון דההוא שמא קדישא כגוונא דא כתיב (בראשית יח) ושמרו דרך יי' לעשות צדקה ומשפט וכי כיון דכתיב ושמרו דרך יי' אמאי לעשות צדקה ומשפט, אלא מאן דנטיר אורחוי דאורייתא כביכול הוא עושה צדקה ומשפט ומאי צדקה ומשפט דא קודשא בריך הוא,
“[If you walk in My statutes, and keep My commandments, and do them,] then I will give your rains in their season...” (Leviticus 26:3-4). Each one will bestow its power upon you. Which are they? They are the restoration that you have made, which is the holy name. It is written similarly, “That they may keep the way of the Lord to do (la’asot) righteousness and justice” (Genesis 18:19). Since it says “that they may keep the way of the Lord,” why does it need to say “to do righteousness and justice?” It means that one who keeps the ways of the Torah makes, as it were, Zedakah (righteousness) and Mishpat (justice). And what is Zedakah and Mishpat? It is the Holy Blessed One. [Translation by David Goldstein. Edited for gender neutrality]
