    — Niph. - נֶעֱלַס it flipped joyously (in the Bible occurring only Job 39:13).
    — Pi. - עִלֵּס he gladdened, rejoiced.
    — Hith. - הִתְעַלֵּס he delighted himself, rejoiced (in the Bible occurring Pr. 7:18 in the form נִתְעַלְּסָה). [A collateral form of עלז, עלץ (q.v.).] Derivatives: עֶלֶס, עֶלֽסוֹן, עִלּוּס, עֲלִיסָה, הִתְעַלְּסוּת, נֶעֱלָס.
