— Niph. - נָבַר or נִבֽרַר 1 he kept purified himself, was kept clean, was pure; MH 2 was separated, was selected, was chosen.
— Hiph. - הֵבֵר 1 he purified, cleansed; PBH 2 he clarified.
— Hiph. - הִבֽרִיר 1 he purified, cleansed; 2 he made clear, clarified.
— Hoph. - הֻבְרַר was separated, was selected, was chosen.
— Pi. - בֵּרַר 1 he purified; PBH 2 he clarified; PBH 3 he selected, chose.
— Pu. - בֹּרַר 1 became clarified; 2 was purified; 3 was selected.
